Financial Peace

Dave Ramsey says “Financial peace isn't the acquisition of stuff. It's learning to live on less than you make, so you can give money back and have money to invest. You can't win until you do this.”   

After 13 long weeks spent learning how to do this very thing, Sunbelt proudly watched as many of our employees and spouses graduated the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University.  The class was started and lead by Sunbelt Sales Manager, Kevin Ford, and the graduation ceremony was capped off with Certificates of Achievement and each received a copy of the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki to continue their personal financial journey.  

Sunbelt is one of only a few companies in the U.S. that offer this course to their employees and spouses free of charge. This is surprising due to the fact that as many studies have shown, the effects of financial stress on employees in the workplace can have negative impacts on their performance and pure enjoyment of the job they do each day.  The 13 week course focuses on teaching people how to manage their money, communicate on money in relationships, and also provides a solid education on other areas like buying a home or picking the right insurance policy.  It is designed to help people free themselves from the stress that money can cause, while providing the balance needed for success in both life and business.
